Lotus Notes 8.5 is our mail server we use also Lotus iNotes for our webmail. When I login to the webmail client and would create a new email message i always get this message (in a popup): (its in dutch) "De installatie van het besturingselement Lotus iNotes 8.5 is geblokkeerd of geweigerd door de gebruiker. Wilt u deze toepassing gebruiken bij volgende pagina's van Lotus Notes?" In Windows Vista we solved this problem. 1. We disabled the UAC 2. We added the following Group Policy Setting: Computer configuration --> Administrative templates --> Windows Components --> ActiveX installer service --> Approved Installations Sites for ActiveX Controls Here we have added Value name: http://webmail.imtech.nl with Value 2,2,1,0x00001100 and Value name https://webmail.imtech.nl with value 2,2,2,2 We have also add http(s)://webmail.imtech.nl to the local intranet zone and given all the permissions for Activex. The weird thing is it works fine under Windows Vista SP2. But in Windows 7 we get all the time the annoying message. When we get the message i can klik cancel or ok. Anyone an idea how to fix this.

Have you tried the latest fix pack for Notes 8.5.1? IBM - Support for Notes 8.5.1 Fix Pack 1 and above on Windows 7, Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6), and RHEL 5.4 Additionally, since we cannot read the exact error message, it is hard to find the root cause of this issue.
